STONE COUNTY ROAD NUMBER MAP

ARKANSAS A 313-69

Present day Arkansas State Roads are numbered by "state shaped shields".
The looping waterway at top right is the White River.  The bridge crossing the White River is at a location today, called Sylamore.
The small red box represents boundries of land Joseph Marion Prichard purchased in a "cash sale".  Noted on Patent Certificate # 4426 issued from Batesville Land Office dated 16 June, 1856 as:
"the North East Quarter of the North West Quarter of Section Twenty-one, in Township Fifteen North, of Range Eleven West in the District of Lands subject to sale at Batesville, Arkansas containing Forty Acres".
Point of interest:  Gayler Cemetery located adjacent to the North East corner of this property, occupying a crook of "South Sylamore Creek". At this time, it is unknown to author that this cemetery was active in January, 1860, the date of death for Joseph M. and Mary Elvira (RISNER) Prichard.
